The powerhouse co-owners of HigherDOSE, Kate Kaps and Lauren Berlingeri, came to us to collaborate and elevate the self-care and wellness experience of bio-hacking New Yorkers with their newest high-tech spa location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Their vision for the tenant improvement build out of a 1,200 SF commercial space was to curate an intimate, restorative vibe for their infrared saunas, wrap treatment rooms, and communal NutriDrip area.

As the Architect of Record, we sought to design a physical embodiment of their brand’s chic, tech-savvy aesthetic. To achieve this, we integrated a living wall and greenery throughout the space, infusing it with vitality. We emphasized the location’s focus on light therapy products by using directed lighting to accentuate the edges and curves of walls and decor. Color was applied strategically to imbue each treatment room with its own distinct, atmospheric feel. The result is a serene, yet invigorating and luxurious environment where clients can escape the city's frenetic energy while pursuing their higher selves.
